What is Verteego?

Verteego is an online platform that helps organizations become more sustainable and communicate their sustainable practices.

We have developed an online platform that allows organizations to assess, monitor, improve and communicate their best social, economic and environmental practices. Organizations on Verteego can share and communicate their practices both within the Verteego and the world-wide community.

Is Verteego easy to use?

Extremely easy! Verteego is an online platform, so there is no software to download. All you need to do is sign up, create your team, and then everyone answers questionnaires. Your sustainability report is compiled automatically from there and you can share it publicly with one click.

Why did you start Verteego?

Begun in January 2008 as a simple idea aimed at empowering companies of all sizes with a tool to help them better themselves as well as the world, Verteego quickly became an ambitious global project.

We believe that small and medium sized enterprises have as much to gain from implementing and publicly reporting sustainable practices as large organizations. And we know that the tools that help large organizations accomplish this are prohibitively expensive. At Verteego, we are determined to provide a high quality tool at a price that smaller organizations can afford.

Is Verteego for me?

Simply put, yes. If your organization is doing great things or wants to do great things and wants to let people know it, then Verteego can be a valuable tool for you.

I work in a really small (or big) organization, is Verteego still useful for me?

The tools and information on Verteego are useful for any organization.

From sole proprietorships to corporations, from NGOs to local governments and universities, no organization is too big or small to benefit from managing, monitoring, and communicating sustainable practices.

I don't know much about sustainability, is Verteego too advanced for me?

Not at all! If your organization is new to sustainability, Verteego can help you establish and implement sustainable policies. Our easy-to-understand questionnaires and feedback will guide your company through the process of adopting, practicing, and communicating sustainability.

I am way ahead of the curve in terms of sustainability, what can Verteego do for me?

If your organization is a sustainability veteran, Verteego can help you monitor, improve, and communicate your policies and actions.

Clients, employees, suppliers, and the community care about sustainability. Letting them know about your organization's efforts to improve its performance will improve your relationship with stakeholders.

How can using Verteego improve my organization's bottom line?

Verteego's Public Report feature allows you to publish your organization's sustainability report at a personalized URL, which increases your organization's visibility and generates online traffic.

Publicizing your organization's sustainable practices improves its image and helps brand it as a leader in sustainability which can increase your customer conversion rate and loyalty. Increased traffic + higher conversion rate = more sales.

How does Verteego help my organization internally?

Thanks to the extra information Verteego provides with each question in our comprehensive questionnaires, you and your employees will learn a lot about sustainability that can be applied directly to your organization by simply going through the questionnaires.

What is sustainability and why should I care?

There are so many definitions for sustainability and it means something different to everyone. According to the UN's Brundtland Commission, sustainability means meeting "the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs." This includes future generations of businesses and the future of your own business. Adopting sustainable practices helps ensure that your organization is creating an environment in which it can thrive in the years to come.

Additionally, sustainable practices, by their very nature, improve your organization's relations with customers, employees, suppliers, and all other stakeholders.

How is Verteego a sustainable company?

At Verteego, we practice sustainability like it's our job…because it is.
