Verteego supports and respects the personal data protection laws. Under these laws customers have the right to access, modify, and remove their personal information. To exercise these rights customers may access their information via their member profile or contact Verteego directly by sending an email to support at verteego dot com.

Your Sustainability Data is Yours

We’ve built and run Verteego so that you can manage your key sustainability reporting information online, and we treat this position with the highest importance and your data with the strictest of confidence. When you enter your data into your social responsibility report on Verteego, you can be certain that only you and those people you provide authorized access to by invitation can make changes to your sustainability report. We have implemented comprehensive security in Verteego to provide you the highest level of privacy we can and will not provide any other third party access to any information unless required to by Law.

What do Verteego People See?

We monitor a secure administration interface over the whole Verteego Report application, across all customers so that we can better understand how Verteego is being used to maintain and improve the service. We never look at the detailed data from within your sustainability report unless requested by you or with your permission. Our interest in the data held on Verteego is limited entirely to how we can improve the Verteego service for you. Individual passwords are encrypted so that no one else than you has it.

Your Personal Details

We collect information such as your organization name, name, email address, telephone, etc. when you register with Verteego. We store this information and aggregate it. We never disclose this to any third parties except for the following circumstances.

• It is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Service or as otherwise required by law.
• We transfer information about you if Verteego is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Verteego will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy. This procedure has a cost of EUR 500 though, an invoice is sent to you upon request to Jeremy by email at datamigration at verteego dot com.

Browsers and cookies

The Verteego application uses cookies to store very simple information which discloses nothing about you or your data.

• A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes some anonymous unique identifiers, which is sent to your browser from a web site’s computers and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
• Cookies are required to use the Verteego service and are used by a large number of secure online business services
• We use cookies to record current session information.

Data storage and location

Verteego uses third party hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and other technology required to run Verteego. Although Verteego owns the code, databases, and all rights to the Verteego application, you retain all rights to your data (See above: Your Sustainability Data is yours). Disclosure

Verteego may disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with the request of Law enforcement agencies or when your actions violate the Terms of Service.

Changes to this Policy

Verteego may periodically update this privacy policy. We will notify you about any significant changes in the way we treat your information by sending a notice to the primary email address of your first Verteego user and perhaps administrators too, and by placing a notice on our website at Verteego.com or on our blogs.
